I learned quite a lot of things. One of these things is learning the difference of bookkeeping and accounting. Bookkeeping is designed to generate data about the activities of an organization. Accounting is designed to turn data into information.
I also learned what are the forms of business organizations. First is the Sole Proprietorship. This means you are a stand-alone where only you are the owner or manager and also at the same time the employee. One example is a sari-sari store. A sari-sari store is a small store where there is only one vendor to tend his/her store and we call them "tindera" for female and "tindero" if male. Second is the Partnership. This tackles about having a partnership with other people. It could be a small or medium enterprise. The last one is the Corporation. A corporation is the biggest form of business organization. Perfect examples are companies and organizations.
I found out what are the kinds of enterprises. The first one is the micro enterprise. Sari-sari store is also a good example of this enterprise. Because the financing for this business is only 3 million below. Also it could only have 9 workers or less. Second is the small enterprise. There are tons of small enterprises in the Philippines, such as HB1, Choice Mart, Convenience Store, and many more. The financing for this business ranged to 3 million to 15 million and it should have 10 to 99 workers. Lastly, the Medium enterprise. The financing to this is above 15 million to 100 million and have 100 to 199 workers. Examples are also Companies and Organizations. But there is actually a Large enterprise, the financing is ranging to 100 million and above and should have 200 workers or more. Examples are SM, Abreeza Mall and Gaisano Mall.
I also found out the users of Accounting Information. Businesses are surrounded by Employees, Customers, Government, Investors, Banks, And Suppliers or Vendors.
